Thoughts

Hello everyone…I’ve started the Blog to see what happens. Here’s some thoughts I had:

I think the project is all so raw that we can all pretty much do anything and then tie them all together into a Masterpiece of a movie. I really like the idea of each of us coming up with a 3-10 minute scene and see what happens from there. I still like the murder idea…(or was it murder???)

Movie Credits: The more I think about the cheesy Chinese writing for the credits, the less I like it (too cheesy to be cool)…what about having the camera pointing down onto a bar table…and use torn up white napkins to spell the names…then just speed it up? (in a busy bar…maybe with a black-light???)

Music: what about each scene having a background song? Maybe not playing through the whole scene, but we seeeeriously have to think about our soundtrack too. ;o) (copyright infringements allowed :o)~

Here’s some things that have me curious…maybe we’ll find answers sometime…

*Who died? (Do we have to say right away? Could that be a big question?)
*Did anyone do it? Who did it? (Hmmm)
*Why did it happen (Was it a crime of passion?) (Was it because someone was taking too much meat off other peoples’ plates?)
*What did they use? (Were they beaten to death with a bag of dead batteries??) (Did someone grab the screwdriver on the edge of the bathtub and use it as a weapon?) (Was the person fed free drinks at an open bar and then taken outside and pushed in front of a bus?)...OH THE SUSPENSE!!
*Would a scene of a bunch of conversations that don’t make sense reveal anything? (Does how a person interpret a random conversation reflect what they’re thinking?? Hmmmm)
*Why are there coffee beans in the mouse hole?

…no direction, not even suggestions…just ideas.

I like the idea of the screwdriver as the "instrument of death", grabbed from the side of the bathtub in anger/panic/frenzy/passion... real Hitchcock. Then we'll add in a blood-curling scream and a lot of ketchup sprayed on white bathroom tiles, a cute little french maid to find the body and a commercial break with an advertisement for Clorox Bathroom Tile Cleaner :o)
